To celebrate the display of Yokai Hikimaku in the Manga exhibition, the Theatre Museum held an international symposium “Classical Arts×Digital Technologies” at Japan House London. It explored various examples of artwork turned digital in Japan and the UK, demonstrating how classical works can be revitalized with the assistance of digital technology. The researchers from the British Museum and Waseda University revealed the history behind the Yokai Hikimaku and explained its relationship with the Manga exhibition.
