In 2019, the Citi Exhibition Manga at the British Museum attracted much attention as the largest manga exhibition in the world that took place outside of Japan. It exhibited more than 240 original drawings by about 50 manga artists and showed manga’s production process, history, genre, and culture in Japan. Yokai Hikimaku was displayed as one of the key materials in the exhibition.
