Many of the plays introduced here not only address the problems faced today by children and society and other themes that the creators want to communicate to children. They also include the hope for a brighter future.
  This is not simply an optimistic hope. Rather, it represents an effort to make a serious enquiry into how drama can deal with the wide variety of difficulties that children face today.
  We hope that contact with other worlds and a diversity of people through drama can serve as an opportunity for children to become more imaginative and creative as they march ahead into the future.
